The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has announced that the reporting process for NEET UG counselling 2025 Round 1 will officially close today, August 22, 2025. All students who were allotted seats in Round 1 must finish their reporting at the respective colleges or institutes within the deadline.

According to MCC, more than 22 lakh students appeared for NEET UG 2025, and around 1.09 lakh MBBS seats and 27,868 BDS seats are available in India this year. Out of these, 15% All India Quota (AIQ) seats are filled through MCC counselling, while the rest are filled through state counselling.
